Scope and Topics

Scope

International Conference on Advanced Technologies, Systems and Services in Telecommunications – TELSIKS will act as a high-level scientific forum for international researchers and practitioners working in all areas of telecommunications to present and observe the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas.

This time we will celebrate 30 years of organizing the first conference. Thank you for your valuable contributions and support for all these years hoping that you will join us in this conference.

History

Series of biennial conferences on telecommunications in modern satellite, cable and broadcasting services have been initiated by Professor Bratislav Milovanović since 1993. The Conference TELSIKS is a highly competent scientific and professional meeting aimed at the efficient exchange of results in the area of telecommunications, through presentation of current scientific results, development trends, etc. The first two well organised conferences, with a great number of participants from abroad and Serbia and Montenegro, allowed organisers to make few steps in improving the conference quality. The third conference, held in 1997 had an international character and was technically co-sponsored by IEEE MTT society, with an international Program Committee. The fourth conference, TELSIKS 1999, was organised during bombing of our country. This conference as well as the fifth conference, TELSIKS 2001, was technically co-sponsored by five IEEE societies: MTT, AP, Communications, Broadcast Technology and Region 8. Also, the conference proceedings had been distributed by IEEE Book Broker program. TELSIKS 2003, TELSIKS 2005 and TELSIKS 2007 conferences were technically co-sponsored by four IEEE societies: MTT, AP, Communications, and Region 8.

From 2009, TELSIKS conference has been technically co-sponsored by two IEEE societies: MTT and AP, and Region 8.
